Package 1: Entry Level Plan Package:

Each set of plans we provide will have the necessary documentation to build your home. As with any project, specific changes on site may be needed to comply with state and local building codes. Before you begin the process of construction, or applying for necessary building permits, you should take the time to consult with local building department officials to get a detailed list of items needed for your building permit. Some areas are very lenient, and some are strict, but the location of the build will determine the zone and all applicable codes will change depending on location. Below are the basic items needed in all areas for a builder to accurately complete construction, but this isn't always enough to pass codes in every area.

Package one is our entry level set of plans, and will provide you with the following information.

While this is often enough information for an experienced builder to construct your home, it is sometimes insufficient for areas with strict building codes or in areas with architectural review committees . This package is sometimes used for subcontractors to bid jobs, and for some areas is enough for pulling preliminary permits, and heath permitting for home-site layout and septic system permits. Again, you will need to check your local building code requirements, as this may not pass in some areas for full permitting needs. This set is also often used in preliminary negotiations between builders and clients.
